scene: me1 and me2 are sitting on a couch and looking at the photos of the Leh trip
me1: the trip was so nice..we had such good time..
me2: yeah..
me1: the best part of the trip was the sunset at sindhu ghat..that silent, peaceful environment.. that beautiful crimson sun..trying to hide behind the snow capped mountains..and the chill in the wind blowing over the sindhu river..and not even a soul to disturb you..its almost like becoming one with nature...
me2: yeah..
me1: you know.. sometimes i envy those ppl who live in such beautiful places..
me2: if you continue to be a spend thrift..one day you will endup having to lead the rest of your life in a jungle..
me1: what do you mean?
me2: have you ever given a thought abt the way you are spending your money?
me1: comeon man..i am not wasting my money..i am spending it on things that i love to do..and of what use is the money if you dont spend it?? its as good as a paper
me2: thats true..but you should plan for the future also..
me1: you mean i should suffer now so that i can die rich?
me2: no...i mean you should continue to have fun till you die..
me1: ohhh.. i sure will have fun till i die..
me2: how can you, if you dont have enuf cash on you ?
me1: i will definetly have enuf cash when i decide to stop working..
me2: oh..tell me more abt it..how does your bank balance look?

me2: not good isnt it?
me1: ....
me2: and this is the state of affairs after 3 years of work..
me1: ...
me2: remember..u had promised yourself that you will make enuf money in a year or so ..to take care of your expenses and emergencies ..when you you made a decision to go for masters... and this was almost 3 years back..when the gate results over out..
me1: yeah...
me2: so ..tell me ... what abt it?
me1: uhh..well..i have some money in shares..
me2: now dont give me all that crap...it was not a result of any financial plan..u just happened to get some esops..and that is besides the fact that its not liquid cash..its paper money..
me1: .. but stilll..
me2: ok..in the best case you have some money over there..other than that?
me1: ..not much in terms of investment or cash ....
me2: hmmm...go on...
me1: ....
me2: u effectively have nothing that can be classified as savings isnt it?
me1: ...u could say that...
me2: yes..and i will say that..

me2: soooo...what do you plan to do abt it?
